Reconciling Life’s Losses
Bereavement is a term that literally means “to be “torn apart”. To have lost someone we dearly love is to be left with a broken heart that no surgery can put back together. Grief is simply the pain that we feel from our loss and it affects every aspect of our lives….emotional, mental, physical, social, and spiritual.
Faith offers TWO Grief Ministry tracks.
Join Terry Oliver on Thursday afternoons at 2:00 PM in the 3 Door Room at Faith Lutheran (use the North/Fellowship Hall Entrance) for an open grief support group. For more information please CLICK HERE, or call Terry Oliver, (253-732-1869) or the church office (360-426-8611).
The second (new) grief support offering is through the non profit ministry called “Good Grief,” led by another Faith member, Suzy Petty. Click on the button to learn more about their widow and widower support programing both here and in Belfair.
Check out a conversation about grief and loss with Rev. Terry Oliver. From the “Will Preach for Food” podcast, Sunday, September 20, 2020, hosted by Rev. Dr. Douglas Peterson.
